It was a sunny morning on ant land, as the rays of the sun find his way into the ant holes, the alarm was sounded by the soldier ant and everyone started preparing for the day’s work.
They rushed out of the ant hole in a single line, piko was easily spotted because of his gold antenna, everyone on ant land knows piko, because he was different and very happy, piko only had a friend called Maria.
They worked every day by gathering food, piko loves to sing when working, his friend Maria loved his voice, she always listen to piko’s song
in few days there will be a nut competition, it was a yearly event and piko have been dreaming of winning the nut competition.
He volunteers to be part of the competitors and was accepted.
The Queen said words of encouragement to all the competitor, piko who was so excited, disrupted the Queen’s speech all the time, by asking can we start now my Queen?
Maria helped piko to pack some food and encouraged him, so they set off in search of the new nut.
The ants were on a single line but piko was running left and right looking for nuts, until it got to the point where all the ants had to go their separate ways to search for a new grain.
Piko climbed a tall tree from where he sighted a city called bug city, so he deiced to go there and when he arrived at the city everyone started looking at him because they have not seen such ant with a gold antenna.
They called piko the ant God and made him the king of bug city,
piko who was very playful first was happy becoming the king but he never had the chance to live a free life like he lived in ant land.

One day he called everyone and asked them to get the best grain for him, They obeyed him and brought different grains for piko, he filled up his bag and told his subjects he was going on a journey.
He left bug city and was very happy that he was going back home but it was already too late to win because he has stayed in bug city for too long.
he was happy that he will see his friend Maria who thought piko might have been killed.
• When piko got to ant land everyone was surprised, some were scared thinking he was a ghost so they started running away from him.
When Maria saw him she was happy his friend came back, she told piko that a new grain was not found piko explained to Maria all that happened to him and showed her the grain he brought, they took the grains to the Queen, the Queen was happy and praised piko.
Piko was announced the winner, everybody became his friend and he lived a happier life than he did in bug city
